What are lampwork beads?
Lampwork beads are created individually by artists using an open flame torch and colored glass rods. The artist melts glass and shapes the beads using tools and the flow of the molten glass. This is a time and skill intensive craft and I am proud to be able to offer lampwork beads to my customers while supporting these artisans.
What does silver-plated mean?
Silver-plated means that a base metal, commonly copper or brass, is covered with a thin layer of silver. Silver-plating keeps the weight of the item light and the cost of the item down without losing the beauty of the silver. Depending on use, the silver plating can last as long as 20 years without rubbing off.

… about Orders
How long will it be before my product(s) arrive?
MarkiDieux products are all made-to-order (MTO). This means that I do not carry completed stock for immediate shipping. Since I carry a wide variety of products, I do not keep all materials in stock as this is very cost-prohibitive. Therefore, I require time to make the products which takes usually within 1-4 days. Very large orders will take longer. Time will be also be needed for my supplier(s) to process and ship any materials that I do not have on hand. This usually takes 5-7 days, but some suppliers will take longer. For example, lampwork beads will need hand-manufacturing time as well as shipping. A few of my suppliers are overseas, and this can add significantly to the manufacturer’s shipping time.
Please contact me before ordering if your order is time-sensitive so I can give you a realistic estimate on delivery.
Most orders will be processed within 7 days after receipt of payment.
After I process your order, I will ship your products to you. You will be notified by email when your order ships.
I send all of my orders through USPS. Unless a quicker delivery method is chosen (Priority Mail or Priority Mail Express), I will send your order by First Class mail.
